The telecom has invested over BGN 3.5 billion in the country over the last 20 years
President Rosen Plevneliev handed today to Mtel CEO Thanasis Katsiroubas a badge of honour for the company’s active position on crucial social causes and consistent CSR policy.
The award was presented on the occasion of the telecom’s 20th anniversary. Telecom, which has invested over 3.5 billion in Bulgaria’s economy over the last past 2 decades.
“I am quite happy with this recognition. To us it is a sign that our efforts to contribute to the development of Bulgaria in the last 20 years are paying off ,” Thanasis Katsiroubas said. "We are committed to continue to work and invest in this country introducing technological innovations so Bulgaria’s citizens could use their benefits. We believe that corporate social responsibility is one more way to contribute to the development of Bulgaria’s society. "
