Award Ceremony for Best Hotelier

  At a ceremony at the ministry of Environment and Waters, former Minister of Environmentm Ms Evdokia Maneva, British Ambassador Richard Stagg and BBLF Chairman Maxim Behar announced the winners in the competition for best hotelier. The award was instituited under the International Hotel Environment Initiative (see News, March 15, 2001). Kiparis hotel, Smolyan, was awarded a study tour to a UK hotel, sponsored by the British Embassy. Geneva Hotel, Sofia, was awarded a free English language course at the British Council for one of its employees.
