Walltopia's Ivaylo Penchev Wins Manager of the Year’s Public Award

This year, at the seventh edition of Manager of the Year awards, organised by Manager magazine, Walltopia's co-founder and CEO Ivaylo Penchev won the Public Award. The poll was held on the web page of bTV, a partner of the event, while the award was handed out by Pavel Stanchev, CEO of bTV Media Group. Penchev won attendants of the ceremony with his honesty, ease and sense of humor.

Ivaylo Penchev is a serial entrepreneur. He is a co- founder and actively involved in the

management processes of many companies among which are Walltopia, Auxionize, Adventure Facilities Concepts & Management, Extrapack, HRT, CompositeX, Quantacea, Civilia Properties.

The best known of them is Walltopia, the world's leader in the design and production of artificial climbing walls, and an example of a Bulgarian company that sets the trends in its industry worldwide. The company was founded in 1998 and to date has completed 230 000 square meters of climbing surface, in over 50 countries and 6 continents. Currently Walltopia is the employer of about 500 people.

The 'Manager Of The Year' contest was held for the seventh year in a row and is organized by 'Manager' magazine. 63 CEOs took part in this year's edition of whom 10 reached the finals. The ceremony took place on 28th of October 2014, at the opera house in Sofia.
