Actavis pharmaceutical company is a main sponsor of a charity race in - Sofia, Varna , Plovdiv and Burgas organized by the 5 km Run Association on 25 October 2014 .
The aim of the charity event named Alone but Not Lonely is to raise funds in support of people with autism in Bulgaria. In addition to sponsorship Actavis will donate extra funds to help autists in need of rehabilitation and integration.
All funds will be distributed to organizations in four cities that care for people with autism: Autism Association in Sofia and Burgas , Karin Dom in Varna and Parallel World in Plovdiv. The charitable 5 km run will be launched simultaneously in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Bourgas.
All members of the public who support the event by donating will receive T-shirts.
Actavis has a long-term policy of support the sports as the company says sports as a source of health. Actavis’ support of the good cause will stimulate adopting a more active , healthy lifestyle and will at the same time support people with autism in Bulgaria.
