2014 Class of Practical Training Programme at Dundee Precious Metals Chelopech Got Their Certificates

Trainees from the practical training programme at Dundee Precious Metals Chelopech received their certificates of qualification. After two years of training in Mechanical Fitters and Electrical and I & C Technician courses students Boris Kyurkchiev, Simeon Karamihova, Tsvetan Spassov  and Ivan Chernev completed the programme successfully. Four interns continue to work in the company now as employees.

The celebration was attended by mentors involved in the training and Maintenance department managers,  Nenka Rasheva , headmaster  of  the Pirdop Mechanical and Electical Professional School  and Bonka Mancheva , deputy headmaster.

Lubomir Haynov, Maintenance Director at Dundee Precious Metals Chelopech greeted the four youths for the successful completion of their internship and wished them good luck in the new challenge, ie being employees of the company.

The interns, now employees of  Dundee Precious Metals Chelopech shared their views on the internship programme and the opportunities for professional development the company offers to young people. They thanked their mentors and teachers for the dedication and time they put in their professional training, and declared themselves ready to continue to work diligently and responsibly using what they learnt during the programme.

The practical training programme is a joint project of Dundee Precious Metals Chelopech and Pirdop Mechanical and Electical Professional School  which started in 2007 with the opening of the Center for Vocational Training. The internship programme provides practical training opportunities to young people who have completed their secondary education.
