„Successful PR experts never grow old“, Maxim Behar told the World Communication Forum in Davos today during his special keynote speech that organisers had dubbed The True Life Story of a Top Industry Leader. “Life is so dynamic that if you decide, even for a single day, to stay out of the flow of news and the care for your clients, even if you’d had enough and want a day off, you could find yourself to be out of the game on the next day”, Behar said.
Maxim Behar presented his definition of PR: “Saying the truth so people like it” adding truth was the key element of it. He told the audience a number of stories from his profound professional experience spanning the 20 years he has been in the business.
During his keynote speech Behar took dozens of enquiries from the crowded room. Nikolay Nedelchev, Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies Chairman, and Alexander Hristov, Bulgarian PR Union Chairman, were in the audience too.
Nearly 200 representatives of 37 states from all continents are taking part in the forum at Davos this year. Discussions are held on major issues of contemporary communications, with social media and corporate social responsibility high on the agenda. Speakers at Davos included world experts such as Paul Holmes, Eric Maillard, Lars Hilse, Virginie Coulloudon, Gianni Catalfamo, Michael Ambjorn, Stuart Bruce, Sergey Zverev, Ardi Kolah as well as Scott E. Fahlman, the person who suggested using :-), the first emoticon.
