Maxim Behar on Jury of Prestigious European Business Awards

Maxim Behar, BBLF Board Member and former chairman and a a leading Bulgarian PR expert, CEO of M3 Communications Group, Inc. and the office of Hill + Knowlton Strategies in Prague, is  sitting today on the jury of the European Business Awards.

These are Europe’s most prominent business awards and  it’s  the second time that a Bulgarian is a member of the panel of experts of the Awards programme. In 2013, Behar was also elected member of the jury of the EBA.

In March 2013, he was elected Chair of the Board at the World Communications Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and in October of the same year he was elected Vice President of the International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO), an organisation comprising 1700 PR consultancies from all over the world. In October 2012, Behar won the online vote for "Manager of the Year" of Bulgarian private TV channel bTVand Manager monthly magazine.

This year's EBA judges include a large number of key business figures, including Bahadır Pekkan, CEO of Turkish mobile operator Turkcell, Dirk Heilmann, Handelsblatt's chief economist and Managing Director of the Handelsblatt Research Institute, and Robert Coles, Regional Director for Europe of RSM International, a global network of independent audit, tax and advisory firms. Philip Forrest, a prominent marketing expert and the author of the best-selling book on service quality management, Sold on Service, is chairman of the judges.

Throughout the day the jury will be evaluating the most successful employers in Europe and the result will be officially announced on 27 May at an official gala ceremony in Athens.

"It’s a great honour for Bulgaria. I hope that apart from the Bulgarian representative in the jury there will be a Bulgarian company that makes it  to the top 10 of employers in Europe in the next couple of years. Then the honour will turn into success," Behar commented from Dusseldorf.
