BBLF Members in the Jury and Among Winners at Forbes Business Awards 2013

Forbes Bulgaria granted for the third time its business awards thus honouring good practices and encouraging entrepreneurial spirit. The winners in the eight categories of Forbes Business Awards 2013 were announced at a stylish ceremony on 14 January in Sofia Hotel Balkan.

The IT sector was very well represented at this year’s competition while winners included and both big companies and small and dynamic companies of great potential for growth.

It is no surprise that BBLF member companies were among finalists: Walltopia snatched second place in Product Quality category, Rumen Radushev, Head of Mortgage Lending Division at Postbank ranked second in Employee of the Year category, Globul took the third place in Community Activities category and Siemens Bulgaria got to second place in HR Development.

The nominations were assessed using a Forbes methodology by a 10-member jury comprising business representatives. These included business leaders Maria Shishkova, AIMS Human Capital managing partner and BBLF managing board member and former chairperson; Jocelyne Thomas – Vukovic, manager of Deposit Business Line for Central Europe with BNP Pariba; and Hristo Iliev, founder and CEO of AG Capital and chairman of the Bulgarian Family Business Association.
