Round Table on Partnerships as a Tool for Sustainable Development

   In partnership with Sofia Municipality BBLF held a round table discussion on Building Partnerships and Solving Community Problems. Key speakers were Mr Stefan Sofianski - Mayor of Sofia, Ms Susan Hamilton - Director for Central and Eastern Europe, the Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum, and Mr Christopher Lweis - Programme Director, UNDP. The Common Good Projects Foundation and UNDP Partnership 2001 Programme presented case studies.

The objective of the discussion was the initiattion and the setting up of a working group that would meet regularly to discuss specific issues of common interest for society and business. It was suggested that BBLF would coordinate the creation of a partnerships' best practices data-base.
