Project Aim

People are at the heart of our company. They are the most valuable asset of an organization and therefore it is extremely important to build a favorable and fruitful work environment that continuously develops employees, personally and professionally. It is for this reason that at "Kamenitza" AD we always put "People first" and strongly believe that diversity and inclusion are the key to successful cooperation and team.

Project Target Group

The target group of the project is all current employees in the company, as well as every single potential candidate for an open position in the company.

Project Duration

Project activities are continuous throughout the year with the aim of providing the best possible practices to the company's employees. It is our priority to create an inclusive environment where everyone can develop their full potential.

Project Activities

The company has a clearly written strategy for the diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities program, which includes several main pillars of development, as well as ambassadors - employees from various functions. Training on the topic "Leadership in action - an inclusive leader" is held in 2021 and 2022 for all team leaders - 80 people, and in 2023 for all team managers An annual goal of the Talent Acquisition team in terms of selection for leadership positions is to include at least three women in the list of pre-screened candidates proposed to the line manager. In 2022, a DIVERSITY, EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND INCLUSION HANDBOOK was created and communicated to all employees. Age diversity in a supply chain function aims to attract, train, develop and retain personnel with less professional experience, as well as to further develop the knowledge and skills of employees with more experience. Another initiative includes videos for internal purposes where people from the Leadership Team share their hobbies and interests. The continuation of the series includes blitz interviews with colleagues from various functions and positions sharing their perspectives on a variety of topics.

Project Results

The leadership team of Kamenitza AD is an example of our efforts in the field of workplace diversity. It is composed of more than half of the representatives of women holding management positions in the company. We also have many women in leadership positions in Sales and Supply Chain. At the beginning of 2023, we also received a special recognition - a distinctive sign from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy for significant achievements in the field of gender equality.
