Project Aim

As one of the largest employers in Bulgaria, Paysafe focuses its attention on the culture and values that unite and distinguish the team. The 4 main values - open, pioneering, focused and courageous, are in tune with the company’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusion. Activities related to these practices are carried out by a CSR Committee, which has a crucial role in raising awareness about diversity related topics. Among the activities are a variety of informative content in the form of blogs, publications in internal and external channels, as well as various initiatives. The team promotes the work of local D&I networks, organizes events and manages the company's involvement in key partnerships for various communities.

Project Target Group

Paysafe's Diversity and Inclusion program targets internal and external groups. It includes internal initiatives organized on our own, as well as those in partnership with organizations that aim to help different groups in society. Reaching the target groups of the program includes communication in internal and external channels - through the monthly CSR newsletter, local networks, working groups, blogs, social media, media publications and interviews, etc.

Project Duration

Diversity and Inclusion initiatives are implemented throughout the year by Paysafe's local networks. Various activations are implemented in all company offices worldwide managed by our D&I ambassador networks. An obligatory part of the calendar are educational presentations, webinars, etc. We organize global initiatives celebrating March as women's health month and respectively November as men's health month, June - PRIDE; celebrations of religious and cultural holidays, etc. are organized.

Project Activities

Paysafe was among the sponsors of Race For The Cure 2023, focusing on women’s health helping breast cancer and raise awareness on breast cancer. Paysafe was a proud sponsor of PRIDE Sofia. We’ve also organized numerous events and seminars with leading LGBTQ+ organizations in Bulgaria. On Christian Family Day, we held our annual CSR initiative to support seniors in Northwest Bulgaria with food essentials. The Women@Paysafe network in Bulgaria has organized many sessions for women in business and tech, work-life balance, entrepreneurship for women and many more. We also had a wide range of local and global initiatives for Movember - Men's Health Month. Families@Paysafe network in Bulgaria organized sessions on teaching children how to code, first steps towards Internet security, as well as other events for Paysafe families and kids. We have organized World AIDS Day Initiatives at the Office with highly experienced expert lecture and a fundraising selling red ribbons among colleagues. The Bulgaria CSR committee organized various virtual activities to celebrate different religious holidays.

Project Results

Over 1000 people took part in more than 100 events in 2023 organised by our various D&I networks across the globe. It is positive to see that we have representatives, who are interacting with each other and establish community. Over 60 colleagues took part in Race for the Cure 2023 in Bulgaria - Europe's largest marathon against breast cancer. More than 400 people visited 50 Families events, over 300 colleagues joined the LGBTQ events. All people who have joined and participated helped make Paysafe a better place to work and implemented the workplace diversity and inclusion agenda even more broadly. With their help, local communities became a community.
