In 2023 Paysafe has focused its efforts towards supporting vulnerable communities - children and young people; women subjected to domestic violence; elderly people in need and others. For a consecutive year the Paysafe CSR committee selected the implemented initiatives which were also supported by the local team in the country. All initiatives were in line with the company's long-term partnerships with Bcause Foundation, Plusheno Meche, ABLE, Project Northwest, PULSE Foundation, Babina Zadruga, Four Paws, Vitosha National Park, Bulgarian Red Cross, and many others. Last year we strived again to support campaign series that effectively engaged our employees, touching on all aspects of their diverse lives. We aimed to provide genuine value for all of our Paysafe people around the world.

During the years we’ve experienced many campaigns which proved that the right partners will help us reach people in need. In 2023 we supported young people, children, women at risk and elderly people with the help of more than 30 organisations like Plusheno Meche, Project Northwest, Residence “Baba”, WWF, Stray Angels Bulgaria and many others. The CSR committee focused on vulnerable groups like children; women subjected to domestic violence; elderly people in need, stray animals and others.

Due to the projects’ differences and needs of the affected groups, they had individual durations and seasonality. All supporting initiatives happened during the 2023 calendar year. We’ve invested more than 50,000 USD to help the local communities in significant causes. For the past year our employees spent more than 4500 hours volunteering which proves that they recognize themselves in Paysafe’s values and actions.

In 2023 we had various activities and even a dedicated volunteering month - June, organized by the committee. During this time Paysafe and its employees supported PRIDE, walked stray animals, cleaned up Vitosha mountain, renovated huts, helped at a social kitchen and taught kids basic IT skills. We organized multiple charitable bazaars - during our annual Paysafe day and donated the funds to support the social kitchen in Drujba in Sofia; and a Christmas bazaar in which all our most senior executives took part. We expanded our relationships with key charity partners. We supported the solidarity garden in the Levski V neighborhood by planting and afterwards prepared delicious food for those in need. We launched a new activity related to the elderly in need - Paysafe employees planted flowers together with residents from Dalgoletie (home for elderly people) and spent time with them. We also turned into an annual activity volunteering in Vitosha mountain. In 2023 we reconstructed a bridge, painted tables and benches and cleaned the area. We renovated and cleaned up the are around Red Riding Hood Hut in Vitosha. More than 60 people participated in Race for the cure 2023.

2023 proved to be yet another challenging year that helped us build even stronger relationship between the team through the activities that we supported. In 2023 we continued to see a rise in the employee interest and participation towards socially significant causes. Our employees helped the local community, people in need, causes that are important to them. Paysafe is a company that promotes and creates mechanisms for the realization of a number of worthwhile causes. The proof of our development is that for a consecutive year we’ve been supporting 30 causes and started new partnerships with 5 new organizations for activities with which our employees are recognized. Now the number of our partnership organizations is more than 10.
