Project Aim

The project aims to attract young people to sports activities as well as to support male and juniors tennis.Ecopharm company, together with the Bulgarian Tennis Federation and Levski Tennis Club, established the longest-running and with greatest participation tournament in Bulgarian men's tennis in recent Bulgarian history - the Ambinor Cup. Thus, three generations of young people have had and are now having the opportunity to develop not only in sports area, but also as active and goals motivated individuals. It has long been proven that human character and a number of positive qualities are cultivated during sports activities and that they stay for a lifetime; Sports inspires team spirit, discipline, how- to-overcome- difficulties attitude, hard working.

Project Target Group

This is a long-term, sustainable project which targets the young generation in Bulgaria. Thanks to Ecopharm' s long-standing sponsorship, more young people have the opportunity to take up tennis and participate in a prestigious tennis tournament. They are motivated, rewarded and deeply satisfied with their regular tennis activities. The project went on and was not terminated even in very difficult years for the company and the country crisis years.

Project Duration

Ecopharm has been supporting Bulgarian men's tennis for more than 20 years (since 2004 without interruption) and juniors tennis for 5 years now. Being a pharmaceutical company, Ecopharm is closely engaged with health and healthy living issues. Best practices in this field are related not with treatment of health problems that have already occurred, but with physical and mental health strengthening where systematic sports activities make a serious contribution.

Project Activities

Two tournaments are organized annually in May and June in which men and juniors participate respectively in men’s and juniors’ sections.

Project Results

Over 2000 participants for the past 20 years. Virtually, all talented tennis players from the country’s new generations have participated in the tournament. Hundreds of youngsters are motivated to continue their active tennis pursuits and to cultivate their abilities professionally in this sport.
