VTI (Value Through Innovation) Day is one of the highlights of Boehringer Ingelheim's cultural calendar, where employees have the opportunity to celebrate the company's achievements and realize that every action impacts future generations. This year's initiative was carried out under the motto "Seize the now" and focuses on the opportunities that today presents. VTI (Value Through Innovation) Day is a tradition in the Boehringer Ingelheim cultural calendar that takes place annually. Each year, volunteer initiatives are organized dedicated to various causes related to this day, which are of great importance to the entire company team and the local community.

In Sofia, the team of volunteers took care of the Social Home "Nadezhda", where they beautified the yard with new plantings of roses and refreshing the benches, creating a more favorable environment for the young people in need of the home's services. In Varna, the volunteers visited "Karin Dom". Together with the management and parents of the children from the home, the team chose to support social entrepreneurship by making warm scarves for the upcoming winter period. In Plovdiv, the company's employees took part in improving the environment in Lauta Park. With the support of the municipality, about 20 trees were planted - an initiative aimed at making the park more pleasant for walks and rest for the local community. As part of the initiative, the employees chose to improve the environment in the Vitosha Nature Park, the "Tihiya Kat" area, where they took care of a more beautiful and welcoming area for walking and recreation. Some of the activities included painting and renovating the wooden structures in the recreation area, cleaning the ditches along the eco-trail and building a wooden bridge.

On the one hand, the activities carried out by the company have improved the environment and created more favourable conditions for residents and visitors to the area. On the other hand, this initiative contributed a lot to team building and to building pure human relationships with the people who were part of the whole project.
