Project Aim

The main goal of the project is to engage a wide range of people and build an active community, united in support of transforming the children's departments in hospitals in the cities of Lovech and Veliko Tarnovo. Overgas has joined the fundraising campaign of the “For Good” foundation for the creation of “Svetulka” children's departments by initiating its own fundraising campaign, aimed at the company's employees, customers, local communities, and the general public. From the end of August to the middle of November, Overgas set the ambitious target of raising the amount of 50,000 leva from individual donations, which would be doubled in the name of creating a better hospital environment for the youngest members of our society.

Project Target Group

Parents, young children, adolescents, local communities, doctors, and citizens of both cities in Northern Bulgaria. Additionally, engagement of employees of the companies within the Overgas Group, customers (household and corporate), and society.

Project Duration

Overgas is a committed company striving to be socially responsible. We believe that success is measured by the benefits we create for others. In order to support the power of community and the uncompromising conditions in which children are treated, we have placed a focus on personal donations and reached out to anyone willing to donate an amount that will be doubled. Project Activities

Тhe project is in its final phase. The renovation activities have been completed, new furniture and equipment have been purchased. Detailed description- in section 6.7.: -Positioning and coverage: Nova News report, articles in Dnevnik, SEGA, BTA; positioning in local media (Lovech and Tarnovo) -Social media: sponsoring posts and content; email marketing to clients related to the campaign; news and stories on Overgas's website, blog and social media -Internal reflection and employee engagement: creating and distributing content; engagement of CEO’s of all companies within the Overgas group and their employees; planned internal email communication -Visual positioning and materials: branding of all company offices nationwide; materials - posters, visuals -Building and engaging new members of the community: sharing appeals for support and engagement in the campaign -Implementation of additional initiatives: an employee-led co-campaign was created by purchasing children's paintings; students from a school in Lovech organized a campaign for 15.09; a parental cooperative and children from Tarnovo organized a Christmas bazaar.Official link to the campaign-https://shorturl.at/uEG24

Project Results

The overall campaign duration is 13 weeks, with a total raised donations - 36,573 leva, which is being doubled. In the children hospital sector at the Department of “Prof. Dr. Stoyanov” hospital in Lovech, 12 rooms are revitalized with wall paintings, new hospital beds, furniture, and equipment. At “Dr. Cherkezov” hospital 13 rooms in the children's sector have been transformed. The rooms are adorned with paintings and colors, complemented by furniture and equipment. Additionally, the sole remaining hospital school in Bulgaria, located in Tarnovo, will undergo a transformation. Medical offices and treatment rooms will be renovated. The main entrance, lobby, and reception area in Tarnovo will have a new appearance. Additional medical equipment will be provided, along with a play area.
