Project Aim

The objective of the program, which is held every year, is to invest in the future development of women in BAT and develop their potential through techniques and methodology for accelerated career development. For example, the program emphasizes building a networking, building individual own "brand," providing cross-functional coaching for maximum professional influence and presence, and encouraging decision-making.

Project Target Group

The program is designed for women, part of the organization of BAT, at different stages of their career development in the company.

Project Duration

The Diversity is another important pillar in BAT's corporate strategy. As a result of our long-term efforts and commitments in this area, and our focus on the representation and role of women in the business, currently in BAT Bulgaria over 50% of the leading management positions in various functions are held by women. The Women in Leadership program is key in this area, conducted on an annual basis, in several phases, and covers a total period of 6 months.

Project Activities

Women in Leadership is an annual program for training and developing women's talent in support of their career development. For the period of 6 months the program is divided into three phases, focused on different tools for building a career development plan, conducting group workshops with coaching professionals, individual training sessions and individual development plans according to the program.

Project Results

Women in leadership - within the annual initiative in the organization of BAT Bulgaria the program was successfully passed by 15 women. They have all participated in hundreds of hours of training and working groups as part of the program. After the successful completion of this program, over 60% of the participating women were promoted within up to one year after the training.
