EdenredRUN 2021 is a charity relay race in support of the cause of purchasing surgical instruments for the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of UMBALSM Pirogov. The aim of the project was to donate 100% of the collected fee for the renewal and purchase of modern surgical instruments for the for the hospital. The charity relay race of Edenred Bulgaria - Edenred RUN 2021 added BGN 7,069.40 to the funds raised from the charity campaign "Donate your time", organized by 5KM Run for 2021. Thus, the total amount of BGN 26,104.85 was raised. On 12.07 the amount collected was handed over to purchase of surgical instruments for the Pirogov Clinic of Pediatric Surgery.

The project is aimed at the public good. The target group are the patients in the surgical department of the Children's Clinic at UMBALSM Pirogov. The target group can be the children of the employees in the company, as well as any child who has been admitted to the surgical ward of the Children's Clinic at UMBALSM Pirogov. The surgical instruments are of interest to all patients in the surgical ward of the Children's Clinic at UMBALSM Pirogov.

Edenred RUN 2021 is part of the Edenred Group's annual Ideal Day volunteer initiative. Edenred Bulgaria supports the following causes over the years: 2017 - preparation and sale of sweets for children with oncohematological diseases at a charity bazaar, 2018 - purchase of a lawn mower and digging up spaces to build a recreation center in Kostinbrod municipality, 2019 - renovation of a children playground in Sofia, 2021 - purchase of surgical instruments.

According to Prof. Hristo Shivachev, head of the Pediatric Surgery Clinic at the largest emergency hospital in Bulgaria, the instruments in Pirogov have not been replaced for years. We believe that with the act of purchasing the necessary tools we have contributed to the health of the youngest patients in the long run.
