The University of National and World Economy (UNWE) is the largest business university in Bulgaria and one of the leading institutions in Southeastern Europe in the fields of economics, management, and public policy. As an established educational institution for scientific research and business partnership, UNWE combines academic knowledge with practical expertise and the real-world needs of the economy. The university builds and develops active partnerships with leading companies, institutions, and international organizations, creating an environment for the preparation of the future business leaders of Bulgaria and the region.
The alumni of UNWE include a number of prominent figures from the national and international elite. The university takes pride in its 11 Prime Ministers and over 130 Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as numerous heads of banks, companies, institutions, and international organizations.
