Paysera Bulgaria JSC has been operating in the Bulgarian market since 2016 under the licence of the Lithuanian electronic money institution, Paysera LT, based on a Joint Activity Agreement (JAA). Under this agreement, Paysera Bulgaria and Paysera LT jointly provide financial services in Bulgaria and share the revenue generated from Bulgarian clients using Paysera’s products in a predefined ratio.
Paysera Bulgaria JSC is responsible for marketing and advertising, customer support, market research, sales, and keeping a network of clients and partners. Paysera Bulgaria also assists with the registration of individuals and legal entities on the Paysera platform. Paysera LT, on the other hand, provides the platform, ensuring its technical maintenance and development, as well as compliance assurance such as customer identification (Know Your Customer – KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) procedures.
