BalkanSat is a Bulgarian company aiming to build and operate the first telecommunication satellite BALKANSAT 30B System.
BalkanSat’s system will provide secure communication and broadband services to Bulgaria and the African continent in different fields – communication and information systems of the government and state institutions; defence; civil protection, IoT, developing and operating 5G infrastructure, etc. The satellite is expected to be launched in 2024.
BalkanSat has a valid ITU Appendix AP30 B coordinated orbital position for telecommunications (FSS) at 56.02 E.
