Kinstellar opened its office in Bulgaria in November 2014 with a team of lawyers with considerable experience in advising international and local clients on complex transactions. The senior members of our Sofia team are recognised on the local market as well as by top international law firms and clients for their ability to work independently and deliver work of the highest quality. Our Sofia team provides all aspects of business law advice, including but not limited to M&A, banking & finance, real estate, EU and competition law.
For the 2 years of its existence on the Bulgarian market, Kinstellar worked on some of the biggest transactions in Bulgaria and the region, some of which are: the Bulgarian aspects of the acquisition of Actavis by the pharma giant Teva, the acquisition by Baring Private Equity of a stake in the global outsourcing company Telus International, the acquisition of eCommera by the global media group Dentsu Aegis, etc. Kinstellar has earned many awards, the latest one being the 2016 Law Firm of the Year for Central Europe Award of the prestigious legal issue The Lawyer.
Kinstellar both in Bulgaria and the region has a serious strategy for community investment and corporate social responsibility, as well as special teams dealing with its implementation. Kinstellar in Bulgaria supports the mission of Teach for Bulgaria by providing it full pro bono legal support, by sponsoring and / or organising fundraising events for it, as well as by popularising its cause through our wide network of contacts. In 2016, our Sofia Office won the Kinstellar Regional Community Investment Award for its work on this initiative and our partner Diana Dimova was invited to join the advisory board of Teach for Bulgaria.
