In April, we held the latest event in the Meet BBLF Success series, dedicated to innovation and sustainable development. This time, we visited TRANSPRESS’s state-of-the-art logistics center in the Sofia-Bozhurishte Industrial Park.
The visit focused on presenting the latest solutions for automation and efficiency, as well as on establishing new contacts and partnership opportunities within the responsible business community. The event generated a great deal of interest and drew colleagues from over 40 member companies.
Our hosts were Veselin Stoyanov, Founder and CEO of TRANSPRESS, Ivaylo Tsanov, Business Development Manager, and Hristo Kisyov, National Sales Manager, who provided a detailed overview of the company’s vision, values, and the high standards of services.
TRANSPRESS is a leading Bulgarian transport and logistics company with over 30 years of experience, a team of more than 1,000 professionals, a fleet of over 600 vehicles, and 11 logistics centres across the country. The company offers a full range of transport and logistics services based on up-to-date technologies and digitilised operations. In partnership with the international giant Dacher, it operates a network of over 400 locations across Europe.
Veselin Stoyanov emphasised that decisions to invest in state-of-the-art automation are a key element of the company’s and the team’s sustainable development strategy. Guests got an up-close look at the smart technologies implemented, such as AutoStore – the first picking robot in a Bulgarian logistics company.
Ivaylo Tsanov shared that the implementation of AutoStore took less than 7 months. The system is now managed by well-trained specialists and delivers significant benefits: optimised processes, lower energy consumption, higher efficiency, and better service quality.
BBLF Vice President, Levon Hampartzoumian, highlighted the importance of the Meet BBLF Success series of meetings in the exchange of experience and know-how in the field of innovation and best business practice, as well as for building long-term relationships based on trust and cooperation.
The event was attended by executives, owners, and senior managers of member companies. Discussions continued during the cocktail reception, and three of the guests won prizes provided by the hosts.
