The annual member cocktail enabled guests to share contacts, ideas, experience
BBLF – the prominent and numerous business association that seeks to encourage and promote good corporate practice, held its annual member meeting on 30 September at Hyatt Regency Sofia.
All epidemiological precautions were in place and the safety of visitors was secured by a COVID-free zone: upon entry visitors presented a valid COVID certificate to medical staff. A temperature scanner was also provided.
This year’s event took was held with the support of general partner British American Tobacco Bulgaria and partners Mussala Insurance Broker and Shell Bulgaria.
The event mottoed Meet the New CEOsis held annually and is meant to welcome the senior executives of companies that joined BBLF’s responsible business community over the last 1.5 years and provide them with a platform to exchange contacts, ideas and experience.
Owners, CEOs and top managers of new member companies, BBLF Board members and dozens of business representatives attended the event.
„In our vision for the development of BBLF we have envisaged to solicit successful companies across sectors that share common values: transparency, responsibility, sustainability. I am proud of our new members especially given the turbulent times we all went through”, BBLF chairman Levon Hampartzoumiansaid in his address. "Creating a community of strong and vibrant companies has one goal and it is our common mission to contribute to the long-term economic development and prosperity and make Bulgaria a good place to invest, work and live in for us and the next generation," he added.

They received their membership certificates and a copy of the Business Ethics Standard that BBLF developed in 2001.
Who is who of the new CEOs.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the organisation Levon Hampartzoumian presented a certificate of honour to to Iravan Hira - a long-time member of the Board and Chairman in two consecutive terms (2013-2019), in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Forum as an organisation of companies that share the values of ethical business, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.
After the presentations, attendees had the opportunity to meet and discuss ideas for new business partnerships.
The event ended with a raffle with marvelous gifts provided pro bono by member companies: Gugushev and Partners Law Office, Alliance Print, Baristo, British American Tobacco, Ecopharm, Grand Hotel Sofia, Hilton Sofia, Hyatt Regency Sofia, Imperial Gourmet Shop, Katarzyna Estate, Lidl, Lion’s Head, Nestle, Penkov, Markov and Partners Law Office, Takeda, Unique Estates, Vinex Preslav.
