1.Who can enter BBLF’s 2014 Responsible Business Awards?

Projects and initiatives can be entered by companies and their partners. All companies operating in the Bulgarian market are eligible to enter regardless of their size and industry. Companies are The person who entered the project will be the contact for any further information.

2.Who judges the Awards?

The jury comprises esteemed and independent experts from various fields: business, NGOs and institutions whose diverse points of view guarantee the impartiality of their assessment. A fill list of the members of the jury is coming soon.

3.How are the winners selected?

Project evaluation criteria include benefits for the community, partnership with other organisations, employee involvement, campaign duration and consistency, innovation and public recognition.

4.Is there a short-list of nominees?

No. The jury only determines the winners of first, second and third prizes.

5.When are winners announced?

At the award-giving ceremony scheduled for 25 February at Sofia Hotel Balkan.

6.How do I enter the contest?

To enter, simply fill in the online form in Bulgarian and English here. Please note the character limits for some of the fields.

7.Why the English form?

Yes. Some of the members of the jury are English speakers and some of the entered details will be published on the English version of our web page.

8.For all categories, your entry will consist of your answers to the following:

• Corporate profile of the nominated company
• Category
• If any, please enclose references from one or more organizations
• Corporate profile of the nominated company
• Name of the project
• Brief summary of the nominated project:
  • Project Aim – Мах 500 characters
  • Project Target Group – Max 300 characters
  • Project Duration  – Max 300 characters
  • Project Partners – Max 300 characters
  • Employees’ Involvement – Max 300 characters
  • Project Activities – Max 1000 characters
  • Project Results – Max 500 characters
  • Public Recognition – Max 400 characters
  • Project Value – Max 300 characters
  • Project Summary – Max 200 characters
  • Project photos – 2 project photos, company logo, project logo – Max 2MB each.

9.Is there an entry fee?

No, entering the contest is free of charge.

10.Can I submit the same project in multiple categories?

No, you can enter a project in one category only. There is no limit to the number of projects you can enter as long as they were implemented in 2014.

11.What is the entry deadline?

The deadline is extended to 31 January 2015.

12.How do I know if I have been awarded?

Winners are announced at the award-giving ceremony first and later on our web page as well.
