Bulgaria’s Responsible Business Community Welcomed New Leaders

Nine companies that joined the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum in 2014 got BBLF’s Business Ethics Standard

Nine newcomers were formally welcomed to the community of Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum, this country’s first and largest business association focusing on good corporate governance and business ethics. BBLF’s latest members: AbbVie, Adhoc, Billa Bulgaria, Denkstatt Bulgaria, Dunapack Rodina, Interactive Share, Casa Chic, Konica Minolta, Schneider Electric Bulgaria were hailed by over 90 business people at a smart cocktail at Grand Hotel Sofia last night. Attendees also met the newly appointed managers of Aurubis Bulgaria, Danone Serdika and ING Bank.

“It is an honour to welcome you to our responsible business community. We strongly believe that good corporate governance will contribute to the sustainability of our companies and  also this country’s economy and society and thus strive for our vision: make Bulgaria a top place to invest, work and live in”, Mr. Iravan Hira, BBLF Chairman said at the start of the ceremony. “Your commitment to best business practices and investment in the community are the basis of long-term prosperity”, Mr. Maxim Behar, BBLF Board member said. He handed each of the newcomers a membership certificate, a copy of BBLF’s Business Ethics Standard and a badge.

Meet the New CEOs, one of BBLF’s most popular events is held at the end of each year to  introduce to the local business community the new members of BBLF as  well as the new managers of existing member companies. Attendees shared their contacts, plans and partnership ideas over a glass of wine.
