BAPRA Bright Awards 2014 Winners Announced

Mr. George Ruitchev, BBLF Executive Director, handed out the prizes in the Sustainable Development Campaign category

At a dazzling ceremony on 13 May 2014 the Bulgarian Association of PR agencies, BAPRA announced winners in the 5th BAPRA Bright Awards contest that handed out 23 Bright Awards. A total of 86 companies entered the 7 categories and a 20-member international jury assessed the most successful PR campaigns of 2014.

“I had the pleasure and the honour of chairing the BAPRA Bright Awards 2014 jury. All the projects that I saw were extraordinary both in terms of strategy and creativity and had excellent results for clients”, David Gallagher said in a video message during the award ceremony.

Three members of the jury attended the event: Ms. Yanina Dubeykovskaya, Content Director of the World Communication Forum Davos, Switzerland and Chair of the  WCFDavos Committee; Mr. Andrew Johnson, Managing Director and Partner of the Havas Public Affairs office in Brussels; and Mr. Jurgen Gangoly, Board member of the Austrian Public Relations Association (PRVA) and Managing Director of the Austrian PR agency The Skills Group, an affiliate of FleishmanHillard International Communications. Campaign of Internal PR: Vivacom for The Big 5 VIVA Shine;

Communication Campaign of the Year: All Channels Communication Group for Letter for Change;

Communication Campaign in the Public Sector: APRA Porter Novelli for A Legend Comes Alive;

BAPRA Bright Awards

BAPRA Bright Awards was established in 2010 and was quickly recognized as the only forum where Bulgarian PR professionals are enabling to compare their achievements with the best PR practices worldwide. Each year the fully international judging committee evaluates the most successful PR campaigns in Bulgaria. All its members are recognized and outstanding PR and communication experts worldwide. Every jury member evaluates the submitted entries in particular category absolutely confidentially and independently apart. With each passing year, the number of the entries increases significantly. In 2013, 80 entries took part.

Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies (BAPRA) is established in 2001 as an independent non-profit organization   to support and strength PR as an activity, working in favor of the modern society development. BAPRA aspires to improve partnership between PR business and the state, even more to build relations with local authorities in Bulgaria, academic circles, business, civil organizations and media.
