Over 250 businessmen participated in the Seventh Business Leaders Olympics which took place in the Anglo-American School of Sofia. The managers of Bulgarian and international companies faced each other on the sports field competing in 12 olympic and non-olympic disciplines including football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, chess, darts, backgammon and many others.
Exceptional sportsmanship was demonstrated by companies like AstraZeneca, Postbank, Overgas, Eltrak, TNT Bulgaria, BNP Paribas, Lindner Bulgaria, Radisson BLU, Siemens and many others who impressed everyone with remarkable zeal and extremely competitive sportsmanship.
The football cup was won by the Radisson BLU team in an intensive match with the team of Postbank. In the volleyball race the uncontested leader was the Siemens team, that left in second place a mixed team consisting of representatives of AstraZeneca, Motorola, Ernst & Young. On the basketball court the big winner was the team of AstraZeneca. Best skills on the tennis courts demonstrated the representative of KLC. The gold medal in the competition of table tennis was deservedly won by Eltrak. AstraZeneca were the champions in the badminton competition.
In the early afternoon the sounds of salsa brought all participants by the main stage of the event and some of them made their first steps in salsa dancing under the guidance of skilled instructors. Another pleasant surprise was the afternoon raffle of more than 100 prizes generously provided by the Wine Cellar "Todoroff", Usit Colours, Pravets RIU Resort & Spa, Shell Bulgaria, Yastrebets Hotel, ITCE, Microsoft Bulgaria, Deutek Ltd, AIMS Human Capital, Nestle Bulgaria, Oriflame, TNT Bulgaria, Lindner Bulgaria, Overgas, BNP Paribas, Rubella, Citibank and Avon Cosmetics.

The Business Leaders Olympics is a popular traditional sport event held outdoors where businessmen, politicians, journalists, athletes and other celebrities come together to spend a day in fair competition in many sports disciplines and to share pleasant moments in a casual atmosphere lots of fun.
