Mr. Stamen Tassev, Executive Direcotr of BBLF, gave the award for best "CSR training firm project" to the team “Arabesque” training firm from the National High School in Finance and Business (NHSFB) in Sofia during the yearly international Fair of the Training Firms in Plovdiv that took place at the end of April. The training firm presented a project related to planting trees and making one school a green and environemnt-friendly plce. Other CSR projects of the student firms competing for the prize focused on enriching the knowledge of young people, cause related marketing campaigns and environment protection.
The "Bulgarian Youth Business Leaders Forum", initiated in April 2007 by the Center for Training Firms and BBLF, held a meeting on the second day of the event and representatives of more than 94 member-companies of the Network for Training Firms discussed good CSR practices and the importance of socially responsible beahviour. Mr. Stamen Tassev addressed the business leaders of the future and presented on the topic of CSR as an element of the contemporary management and as a necessity for the future development of any company. Mr. Tassev encouraged each student firm to plant at least one tree at their school as a CSR practice.
