The "Bulgarian Youth Business Leaders Forum" was one of the projects distinguished in the first ever for Bulgaria "European Enterprise Awards". Traditionally these awards are organized in EU countries, the winners of which are eligible to compete on EU level. The objective of the EU awards is to identify and recognize the most successful promoters of enterprise and entrepreneurship around Europe.
The project "Bulgarian Youth Business Leaders Forum" was initiated in April 2007 by the Center for Training Firms and BBLF. One of the aims of the project is to allow students to be active participants in meetings with the real business and to draw expertise from business leaders. The first such meeting took place in 2008 with Mr. Florian Fichtl, Country Manager of the World Bank Office in Bulgaria. In a 2 hour dialogue he shared his work experience with students from the National Trade and Banking High-school in Sofia.
