On the 16th of January the BBLF Office was visited by a group of students from the Johns Hopkins University's Center for Transatlantic Relations who are working on a project concerning corruption related matters and anti-corruption efforts in Bulgaria. The students' choice to visit BBLF among other institution was based on BBLF's reputation of a leader organization in the CSR sector that could provide them with a non-profit association's perspective on issues related to corporate social responsibility and ethics.
The students' project is funded by the European Union's Directorate General for External Relations through the Johns Hopkins University's Center for Transatlantic Relations. As a result of their visit to the different Bulgarian institutions and organizations, including BBLF, the students will write a teaching case study that will be used in classes at Johns Hopkins University and other universities as a tool to help American and European students understand the issues that new EU member states face and the ways that the EU has sought to address them post-accession.
