On September 25th, 2008 TPA Horwath one of the leading tax and audit companies in Austria, Central and Eastern Europe opened its newest office in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The TPA Horwath Group currently has 11 offices in four provinces of Austria, and a further 11 branches in the key regions of Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

TPA Horwath commenced its operations in Bulgaria by the establishment of three legal entities: TPA Horwath - providing tax, legal and accounting services; TPA Horwath ICM Group - providing regulatory and business advisory services, and TPA Horwath Audit.
TPA Horwath Bulgaria is chaired by the Managing Partner Ms. Maya Hristova, financial expert with solid experience in long-term integrated resources planning, cash management, regulatory accounting and financial framework for the utilities sectors (USoA), regulatory and strategic advisory.
