CEZ Delivered Manual for Optimization of Energy Consumption

Experts advise customers of the company on how to improve energy efficiency in your home and office
CEZ issued a handbook "Energy saver" and a brochure containing tips on how to optimize energy consumption. In this way customers of the company will reduce costs and limit released environmentally harmful emissions. The publication, which is illustrated with cartoons by Ivailo Ninov, is part of company policy on corporate social responsibility and energy efficiency.
Expert estimates suggest that 58% of energy consumption is related to heat homes and offices in winter and cool them in summer, a quarter of the costs goes to heating the water, one tenth of the consumption is for lighting and for small appliances. In this regard, most of the tips included in the guide are aimed at improving energy efficiency in homes and offices.
"When we use energy wisely, we all help to conserve natural resources, while reducing our personal expenses. In addition to offering solutions it is important for us to give a positive example. All employees of CEZ have set personal goals to optimize energy consumption, resulting in saved 4 GWh energy and fuels only for the period 2007-2010. We hope the example of our employees to be followed by our clients. It is important to build an entirely new type of behavior of consumers nationwide," said Peter Dokladal, regional manager of CEZ for Bulgaria.
"Energy saver" will be distributed free of charge at customer service centers and in the offices of the partner organizations of CEZ.
