New companies in the BBLF communityDecember 03, 2019
Our annual networking cocktail welcomed CEOs of new members
At a special event mottoed Meet the New CEOs BBLF, this country’s most prominent organisation that promotes and encourages good business practices of responsibility and sustainability presented the new front-runners in its community. The event held at Grand Hotel Sofia last night was organised with the kind support of our main partner British American Tobacco Bulgaria and partner Japan Tobacco Internatioonal.
More than 100 guests from over 50 companies and organisations welcomed the CEOs of companies that had joined BBLF earlier in 2019: the American University in Bulgaria, Benefit Systems, Bodu SOD, Cargill, CATRO, Gugushev & Partners Law Office, Katarzyna Estate, Mommy and Daddy’s Diary Foundation, STEMO, and Varna University of Management. The recently appointed managers of BBLF member companies the Anglo-American School of Sofia, Coca-Cola, Grand Hotel Sofia and Kamenitza Brewery were also introduced to the business community.
On the same lines, Iravan Hira, BBLF current deputy chairman introduced BBLF’s chairman Levon Hampartzoumian who was elected to the office in May 2019. The financial expert told his peers: “Our strategy of success is based on reaching out to leading companies across industries that share a long-term vision and responsibility values. Our aim is to keep working to improve the business climate, standards of living and the general social environment to make Bulgaria the country we all dream of living in”.
The new front-runners received their membership certificates and a copy of the Business Ethics Standard, a code of conduct that BBLF developed in 2002. Member companies commit to apply it their relationships with staff, partners and clients.
Each of the top managers had the opportunity to introduce their company as well as their personal professional experience and achievements (please have a look at their short bios).
The event was hosted by Ganiela Angelova, well-known Bulgaria ON AIR TV anchor.
The cocktail that followed the formal part of the night allowed members to network.
The event ended in a lottery that featured attractive prizes kindly provided by members Alliance Print, BAT, Benefit Systems Bulgaria, Credo Web, JTI, Grand Hotel Sofia, Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia, Kamenitza, Katarzyna Estate, Vinex Preslav.
