The topical issue is in the focus of the discussion at the Annual BBLF-Ambassadors Meeting on 9 April 2019
Following the success of the previous editions of the initiative, BBLF is organising the Fourth Annual BBLF-Ambassadors Meeting on 9 April 2019 at 10:00 hrs. at Sofia Hotel Balkan. The discussion mottoed Bulgaria in the Eurozone will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in partnership with the Italian Embassy in Sofia. Keynote speakers are Ekaterina Zaharieva, Vice Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs and H.E. Stefano Baldi, Italian Ambassador to Sofia. Confirmed speakers include Emil Karanikolov, Minister of the Economy, Ognyan Zlatev, European Commission Head of Representation in Bulgarià and Stamen Yanev, Invest Bulgaria Agency Director.
Held every year since 2016 the BBLF-Ambassadors Meeting aims at providing a platform for dialogue of the BBLF member companies with the diplomatic corps and senior members of the executive. This year’s discussion will focus on Bulgaria’s path to the Euro zone and the benefits this step would bring to the economy outlining the effects on business and the experience of countries that have already introduced the single European currency.

Attendees will get first-hand knowledge of Bulgaria’s current preparations to join the euro zone and get insights of its effects from diplomats from European countries with similar experience. The discussion will also focus on the benefits for the economy and foreign trade relations.
