1. How does the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility correspond with the mission and heritage of your company?
The Association supports vocational and continuous education for young people and adults in a net of training structures, and applies in all of its practices the values of corporate social responsibility.
For more than seven years, the founders of the Association have been supporting the activities of student firms in Bulgaria with personal involvement and with their own resources through sponsorship, business consultations, software and trainings for teachers and secondary school students.
The activities of the Bulgarian Training Centre are oriented towards creating a spirit of entrepreneurship, encouraging business's responsible attitude towards the State and its institutions, establishing a relationship of respect with business partners and competitive structures.

2. What is your company's CSR involvement with the COMMUNITY?
The activities of the Association include training, professional realization and career development of young people in Bulgaria; reduction of unemployment by practical vocational education and training. Particular attention is being paid to people with special needs to prevent isolation and to better integrate them into society mainly through the forms of training as presented by the Association.
The Association develops, purchases and provides working software for the services and registers of the Centre of Training Firms in the Secondary Vocational Schools of the Ministry of Education and Science. The Association supports the activities, international relations and participation of Bulgarian training firms in the forums and events of the world organisation of training firms EUROPEN which includes more than 40 countries with more than 4,500 firms, working within a common network.
Regardless of race, religion or ethnicity, the network reaches beyond physical borders and puts people in touch with each other across the world. This helps enhance training and human development on a local level. The practice firm concept is an excellent opportunity to help people acquire the tools, skills and experience necessary to integrate in the rapidly changing business environment so much affected by the globalisation of the world economy.

4. What is your company's CSR attitude towards your EMPLOYEES?
The staff of the Bulgarian Training Centre has been selected on the basis of their outstanding personal and professional qualities. It consists entirely of volunteers. The Association supports the social development, personal and professional growth of young people in Bulgaria.

5. What is your company's CSR involvement with YOUNG PEOPLE and EDUCATION?
The Association Bulgarian Training Centre was established in 2004. One of its aims is to support the activities of the Centre of Training Firms of the Ministry of Education and Science; to develop a network of training firms for other target groups in the country.
BTC is the result of the implementation of the 'Bridge between School and Business‘ project, encouraging direct interaction between economic, educational and governmental institutions.
Within the 'Looking for A Job‘, training recruitment procedure is being implemented in co-operation with the Centre of Training Firms in the Secondary Vocational Schools. Students from training firms take part in a real recruitment procedure for real positions for their summer internship programmes in the branches of DSK Bank, the Agency for Small and Medium-size Businesses and other companies and organisations.
Project Е-Т-Е ‘Education-Training-Employment' aiming at facilitating young people with special needs in their successful initiation and realization in the real business life. The project has completed its pilot training stage and has developed training tools for integrated education in foreign languages, information technologies and economics in a training firm for hearing impaired youngsters. BTC ensures the sustainability of the results of E-T-E project.
The Association is a partner of the Agency for Economic Development in Essen, Germany as part of the ‘Alfred Krupp-Student Scholarship for Practical Business Training in Foreign Countries' Programme.

6. What is your company's practice of BUSINESS ETHICS?
The founders and members of the Bulgarian Training Centre are owners and employees of companies known for working as competent and professional partners with admirable CSR practices. The Association puts a main accent on observing the state legislation, preventing corruption and avoiding negative trends in business relations.
The world net of training firms EUROPEN, which in its nature is a model of the national and world markets has been established and is functioning on the basis of good practices of business ethics.
