1. How does the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility correspond with the mission and heritage of your company?
Bringing the world stability, capacity and service to the Bulgarian market and the Bulgarian business community - that's our mission, which is followed by the employees of the company who are the most valuable asset of AIG Inc. and its subsidiaries worldwide.

2. What is your company's CSR involvement with the COMMUNITY?
As a socially responsible international company AIG Bulgaria brings the time of its employees and its financial resources to help children and young people in a difficult social situation and without parents.
For three years now, the Company has followed the established tradition each year before Christmas to tender among its employees all Christmas presents received, doubling the collected amount. In 2003, the Company bought spring-beds and clothes for the orphanage in the village of Rabisha. In 2004 it used the accumulated sum to help another orphanage and it is its hope to continue this tradition through the years.

3. What is your company's CSR involvement with the ENVIRONMENT?
Besides selling covers for accidental pollution to the business community at large, AIG intends to arrange a garden next to its office where trees will be planted. AIG will provide the resources for its monthly maintenance. This will be a good start because we - people, communities and corporations - have to lay the groundwork for cleaner long-term growth, acknowledging environmental protection as a top priority, and securing a better world for the future generations.


4. What is your company's CSR attitude towards your EMPLOYEES?
AIG Bulgaria gives an equal opportunity to each employee. It has a matrix management system so that the talented people working at AIG worldwide can progress and develop their professional skills in different subsidiaries of the Company.
AIG Inc. offers its employees worldwide a virtual university via Internet where each employee can attend different courses as well as outside trainings.

5. What is your company's CSR involvement with YOUNG PEOPLE and EDUCATION?
At the end of 2003 AIG Bulgaria established a charity fund called ‘For a Good Start in Life' to help orphans with their university education. At the moment AIG Bulgaria provides financial assistance to five university students without parents, and the Company's commitment to these children has not been limited to financial help only. AIG Bulgaria intends to give them the opportunity to participate in suitable internships and work placements, which will be of great significance for their professional careers and proper integration in society.

6. What is your company's practice of BUSINESS ETHICS?
Each employee of AIG Bulgaria is obliged to observe the rules written in the AIG Code of Conduct, which has been prepared for the use and guidance of all the employees of AIG worldwide. The principles implicated in the Code of Conduct are non-discrimination, confidentiality, personal conflict of interest, personal relationships with Insured, Producers, prospects and suppliers.
