CSR PROFILE BOOK Questionnaire 1. How does the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility correspond with the mission and heritage of your company? The mission of M3 Communications Group, Inc. is to provide public relations, advertising, and marketing services customized for the Bulgarian market, with only the highest degree of responsibility, professionalism and quality. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility is an essential part of our corporate vision and inseparable founding block for all the communication programmes we plan and implement. We encourage the responsible, morally right behaviour of our communication partners by constantly striving to create an environment that encourages free thought and new ideas for corporate actions towards social improvement and then by effectively communicating and implementing these ideas in coherence with our clients’ business objectives. CSR CATEGORIES 2. What is your company's CSR involvement with the COMMUNITY? M3 Communications Group, Inc. recognizes its role as a corporate citizen by striving to exemplify socially responsible behavior and encouraging its clients to do so. The company itself supports different projects and initiatives beneficial to the community and supports its clients in developing and implementing communal involvement ideas and programs. The most recent community investments of M3 are the development of two rich of content web sites: one of the legendary Bulgarian poet and revolutionary Hristo Botev (www.hristobotev.com) and of the “man who invented the computer” John Atanassoff. (www.johnatanasoff.com). 3. What is your company's CSR involvement with the ENVIRONMENT? ----------------------------- 4. What is your company's CSR attitude towards your EMPLOYEES? As a company in the creativity business M3 Communications Group, Inc. values human and professional development, teamwork, and individuality above all. We nurture an open-minded and team-oriented environment and encourage freedom of thought, open discussion, and new ideas by treating each other as equals and listening to each other before forming judgments. The company is always willing to help people to learn, create, and develop new skills 5. What is your company's CSR involvement with YOUNG PEOPLE and EDUCATION? M3 Communications Group, Inc. constantly supports young people and education by participating in educational projects (Master Business Classes of BBLF), scholarships (“Hristo Botev” Scholarship), internships (together with AISEC). One of the biggest achievements of the company is the establishment of M3 Communications College – the first in Bulgaria professional school for public relations and communications that offers courses for acquiring professional qualification career and development in the field of public and marketing communications. The college started at the end of 2003, its main objective is to help young people acquire practically oriented skills and knowledge. To fulfil this objective M3 College works with the best practitioners and teachers with solid academic and professional background and proven teaching skills. The courses at M3 Communications Group, Inc. examine the processes of business communication in the contemporary world with a focus on the best communication practices. M3 College will meet the needs of both advanced students with backgrounds in communication studies and relevant disciplines, and professionals seeking to gain a more practically oriented understanding of communication processes. 6. What is your company's practice of BUSINESS ETHICS? M3 Communications Group, Inc. is proud to be the company that created the idea of Business Ethics Standard that was accepted by all the BBLF members. One of the key objectives of M3 is to facilitate open and honest communication based on business ethic standards as integral part of the corporate culture. As a communication partner of many local and international companies M3 encourages the improvement of their business practices through creating and implementing more initiatives and project to demonstrate good corporate citizenship.
