1. How does the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility correspond with the mission and heritage of your company?
TNT Express worldwide is a good corporate citizen and protects the environment from any potentially adverse impacts generated by our activities. Complying with our company values such as standards of honesty, integrity and respect for the interests of all stakeholders, and complying with the relevant laws and regulations of the country, ensure good corporate citizenship.

2. What is your company's CSR involvement with the COMMUNITY?
We as a part of TNT Express, are a good corporate citizen of Bulgaria and we are proud to be an extremely socially oriented company. TNT Bulgaria is an active member of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) and the Country General Manager is member of BBLF’s managing board. TNT Bulgaria is also involved in the UNDP Global Compact Project, dedicated to creating good corporate citizenship in the world economy and the level of involvement is senior management.

3. What is your company's CSR involvement with the ENVIRONMENT?
TNT Bulgaria was among the establishers of the United Nations Initiative Global Compact for Bulgaria and has been taking part in the Waste Management Initiative by setting up our own “Paperless office” initiative. The company has implemented a Health and Safety Management System that deals with the safety of the work place as well as with environmental issues.


4. What is your company's CSR attitude towards your EMPLOYEES?
As an Investor in People the company is committed to personal development and ensures that everyone has equal opportunities for training. The equality of employment is also guaranteed by the Equal Opportunities Policy, which states that it is the policy of this company that neither its managers nor its employees nor any others acting on its behalf will practice any form of unfair discrimination against each other, our customers, suppliers or communities in which we work, on the grounds of gender, marital status, race, nationality or national origin, ethnic origin, colour, creed or disability.

5. What is your company's CSR involvement with YOUNG PEOPLE and EDUCATION?
For three years on end, TNT Bulgaria has been actively participating in the Career Advice Project – helping young potentials to “dip” into the business environment. In February 2003 CGM and HR Manager were the lecturers in HR Workshop for students from the New Bulgarian University.

6. What is your company's practice of BUSINESS ETHICS?
We have our own Ethics Code that comprises ethical norms and company values deployed in the company. As a member of BBLF, TNT Bulgaria has been among the first companies to commit itself to the BBLF Business Ethics Standard and to its deployment within business society in Bulgaria.
